She completed her MBBS from one of the most prestigious colleges in India, King George Medical College, Lucknow in 1995 & completed her MS from another prestigious institute, Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior in 1998. She has previously worked as Assistant Professor at GR Medical College in Obstetrics & Gynecology Department. Since 2000, she has been working at Dr. Verma Hospital as a consultant.
